San Diego, CA – Beautiful City

4

Video Marketing Conference by Traffic Geyser

Cities take on a life of their own. And the more I travel, the more I love to find a city's personality.

Also, what does a city do to allow it to Get Out… not just stand out but be so similar to lots of other cities.

San Diego, home of Traffic Geyser, is a beautiful port city that's important to the US Navy. There is so much near the Hilton San Diego Bayfront Hotel – the Convention Center, Petco Park where the Padres play, and the Gaslamp district – a grouping of rehabbed buildings, retail on the ground floor with parking above (to help the parking crunch when the Padres play at home), and human-scale buildings that have been well-preserved.

Enjoy this brief overview of parts of this city: Gaslamp, Convention Center, a tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, a tribute to Bob Hope, the Midway on display, and a tribute to the generation of our fathers or grandfathers.

And thanks to Traffic Geyser for a great conference for Internet video marketing.

Great video, Charlie! We were at the Midway about two months ago, but the weather sure was different when we were there. That was the week of the torrential rains and it was challenging just getting out of the car! Glad your trip was a success.

Thanks for your comment, Patty. Yes.. it was really good weather when I was there and SO glad that I went a full extra day early so that I could wander around, take in some restaurants, and see the city. Once the conference began, I was swamped with work and meetings.

    Hi Charlie,

I lived in San Diego ( North County) for 5 years and absolutely loved the city! When I retire I plan on moving some place warm and San Diego is on my short list of cities for sure!

Looks like you had a great time at your conference and took a lot out of it. Good for you my friend!

Thanks, Bill… I DID have a great time there. It's beautiful, and didn't hurt that I was attending a conference about Video Marketing – a top that you know I really love.

"Retire"? Guys like you and me don't retire… we just keep on writing!

Thanks for thinking about me here.
